
District Apostle Charles Ndandula's visit to Zimbabwe

Six District Ministers Ordained For Zimbabwe District Apostle Charles Ndandula ordained Six (6) District Evangelists during his visit to Zimbabwe from 30 May - 11 April, 2011. At the time Zimbabwe was handed over to the District Apostle in 2007, it had only 8 district ministers, comprising 2 District Elders and 6 District Evangelists to care for the whole country. The district now has 14 District leaders. The ministers ordained into the District Evangelist ministry were the Shepherds Lovemore Moyama, Kubuda Nakambowa and Ackme Kwangware as well as the Community Evangelists Joseph Mushekwa, Vincent Chikomo and Munyaradzi Mareki. There were others who were ordained into the Shepherd ministry. The District Apostle had travelled to Harare on March 30, 2011 and held divine services in Harare, Gweru, Hwange and Bulwawayo before concluding his 12 day programme with a youth service in Victoria Falls Town on Sunday, 10 April 2011. District Apostle Dates Youths In Zimbabwe Over 500 Youths of the New Apostolic Church in Zimbabwe travelled from different areas to Victoria Falls town for a youth festival over the weekend of 9-10 April, 2011. These were exciting moments for the youths of Zimbabwe as this was the first ever youth weekend with a District Apostle. The excited youths from Harare, Gweru, Karoi, Hwange, Bulawayo and Mutare towns gathered at Chintimba Primary School grounds in the morning of Saturday, April 9, 2011 for the sports activities. Some youths of Zambia also travelled from Livingstone and Lusaka to Victoria Falls town for the same event. For Saturday afternoon, the youths had organized a choral concert which was graced by the District Apostle. He was accompanied by District Apostle Helper Arnold Mhango, Apostles Remmy Muyenga from Livingstone, Godwin Nyuwa from Sesheke and the host apostle, Jan Welman as well as Bishop Daniel Mulemba, also of Zimbabwe. The following day, Sunday, April 10, 2011, the District Apostle held a youth service attended by 720 members and 35 guests in a community hall.

Service In Mukuni Village On Tuesday, April 12, 2011, District Apostle Charles Ndandula held a divine service in Mukuni Village in the outskirts of Livingstone town. Chief Mukuni of the Toka-Leya people was among the guests in this service which was attended by 1,062 members.

Apostle used a text word from Ephesians 3:19: After the service, the District Apostle and his entourage went to Chief Mukuni’s palace and paid a courtesy call on the chief. He was accompanied by Apostle Godwin Nyuwa, host Apostle Remmy Muyenga and Bishop Eustance Situmbeko and their wives. |
