In July, 2009 during his programme in Malawi, District Apostle Charles Ndandula visited an orphanage in Mzuzu which was established by the Church through its Non-governmental organization, Henwood Foundation.

The orphanage centre which was established in September 2008 is now caring for 79 Children, 23 members of the church and the rest non-members.

The centre is currently operating within the Mzuzu Central church premises.  However, the centre has acquired a piece of land where they intend to construct a school block as well as hostels to accommodate the orphans. The members in Mzuzu are moulding bricks needed to complete the building as their contribution.
