Workshops in  Zimbabwe

During the weekend of 6 – 9 August, 2011, 43 ministers gathered at the Women’s Bureau Hall in Harare, Zimbabwe, for Capacity building and Catechism workshop.

The four (4) day workshop began with the capacity building of ministers and ended with the Introduction of Catechism to district ministers.

On Sunday, August 7, 2011, Apostle Jan Welman conducted a divine service in Mabvuku church about fifteen (15) kilometres on the outskirts of Harare city. He was accompanied by Bishop Daniel Mulemba and all district ministers, the Apostle read a text work from 1 Thessalonians 3 : 2-3:

“…and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God, and our fellow labourer in the gospel of Christ, to establish you and encourage you concerning your faith, that no one should be shaken by these afflictions: for you yourselves  know that we are appointed to this.”

203 members including 30 visitors attended the service and at the end of the service, the Apostle urged the members to prepare themselves spiritually for the visit of the Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber in March, 2012. Bishop Mulemba introduced the greeting slogan “Chief Apostle is coming!”

The members rejoiced that the Chief Apostle will be visiting Zimbabwe, because they were last visited by the highest servant of God in the church fifteen years ago!
