
Four Churches in Lusaka dedicated in December 2009

In the month of December 2009, 4 church buildings were dedicated in Lusaka. During the weekend of 19 - 20 December 2009, two churches were dedicated in Lusaka East district under the care of Apostle Michael Milupi; John Laing and Ngwenya churches were dedicated on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December 2009, respectively, while Njolwe church, under the care of Apostle Stanley Munsaka was dedicated on 27 December. The year ended with Kalingalinga church, under Apostle Milupi, being dedicated on 31 December. In the dedication service of John Laing church on 19 December 2009, the District Apostle Charles Ndandula read a text word from Ezekiel 43:5: “The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple." The next morning, Sunday 20 December, Ngwenya church was also dedicated. The text word was taken from Revelation 19:7: “Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory.” This service was attended by 1,094 brethren of whom 25 were guests. Sunday 27 December, 2009 was yet another moment of happiness when Njolwe Church in the Lusaka Central area under the care of Apostle Stanley Munsaka was dedicated. The church is on the outskirts of Lusaka East in Lusaka City Elder District. After the dedication service, District Apostle Ndandula made a donation of assorted items to Mikango Clinic on behalf of the church. The items donated included an air conditioner, blankets, bed sheets and pillows. This donation was made possible by the efforts of sisters of Lusaka Central Congregation. The year 2009 ended with the dedication of Kalingalinga Church on 31 December, whose members were also celebrating the golden jubilee of the establishment of the congregation. The text word used for the service was from Ephesians 5:20: “Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” |
