DISTRICT APOSTLE DATES THE YOUTHS IN CHIPATA

On Friday,17 October, 2008, the District Apostle Charles Ndandula covered a distance of 500 kilometres East of Lusaka city in the Eastern province to be with the youths in that area.

On Saturday, 18 October, it was an exciting day when over 1,000 youths marched from the civic centre of Chipata in  town centre to David Kaunda (DK) Stadium as the District Apostle, accompanied by three apostles, waited for them to  march past the entourage.

The marching youths were accompanied by a colourful police brass band who played, mostly, hymns. After the march past, many activities such as soccer, netball and traditional dances took place in the stadium.

One youth took the courage to ask the District Apostle about his youthful days at the university and how he managed to overcome obstacles as a child of God.

The next morning, Sunday, the District Apostle conducted a youth service in an open air space in order to accommodate as many members as possible.

Accompanied by three Apostles namely Aaron Katungu of Ndola, Ingombe Ananyatele of Mongu and the area Apostle Noah Kandisha, the District Apostle read a text word from 1 John 2 :15:

"Do not love the world or the things in the world."

The service was attended by 2,710 members.
