Mansa on 20 January 2010

In Mansa, a number of members and ministers waited anxiously by the roadside about 20 kilometers  away from Mansa town for the arrival of the District Apostle and his entourage in the evening of  20 January, 2010.

District Apostle Charles Ndandula accompanied by Apostles Remmy Muyenga of Livingstone and Baker Chakwana of Choma travelled to Mansa in the Luapula province for four (4) days programme. It was a joyful moment when the District Apostle arrived and was welcomed by the area Apostle Moses Chileshe together with the ministers and members who were waiting to receive him.

The next day, the District Apostle and his entourage had to travel to Nchelenge, which is about 200 kilometers from Mansa. Before travelling to Nchelenge, he visited the recently constructed Mwanawasa Bridge, which borders Zambia with Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

The District Apostle conducted a divine service in Nchelenge Main congregation on Friday 22, January and the text word was taken from Hebrews 12:14:

“Pursue peace with all people and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

The next service was conducted in Kawambwa Main congregation and before travelling back to Mansa, the District Apostle and his entourage visited the Ntumbachushi falls, one of the most beautiful but unexplored waterfalls in Zambia.

The programme ended with the service on Sunday in mansa Central church. The service was attended by 1,284 members of whom 24 were visitors. A text word was read from 2 Timothy 2:20 – 21:

“But in the a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.”
