District Apostle Charles Ndandula accompanied by Apostle Willie Sweta of Kitwe travelled to Chikankata and Mazabuka to hold two divine services over the weekend of 29 – 30 January 2011 and they were received by the area Apostle Kennedy Muchimba and Apostle Godwin Nyuwa of Livingstone.

For the service in Chikankata, the District Apostle read a text word from Mathews 25: 14- 15:

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man travelling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.”

The members braved the heavy rains to attend the divine service and the District Apostle was touched by the attendance of 575 members despite the rains. He said it was important to attend divine services because that is where we get our spiritual nourishment from and also full blessings from our heavenly Father.

On Sunday, January, 30 2011 the District Apostle conducted another divine service in Mazabuka at Kaonga congregation.

Mazabuka town is located 125 kilometers southwest of the capital city, Lusaka. It is called the sweetest town in Zambia because it has the biggest sugar plantation in the country, called the Nakambala Estates, situated on the Kafue flats.

The text word for this service was read from the book of Psalms 100: 2-3:

“Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God, it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and sheep of His pastures.”

During the service he retired District Evangelist David Monde and ordained Shepherd Vincent Muyapa Kayimbe into the District Evangelist ministry.

The service was attended by 1,092 members.
