District Apostle Ndandula greeting members after the service in Lumwana West on 20 June 2009

Accompanied by three apostles, Willie Sweta of Kitwe, Baker Chakwana of Choma and Aaron Katungu of Ndola, District Apostle Charles Ndandula travelled over 8000 kilometers to visit the members in Mwinilunga in the North-Western Province on 19 June, 2009.

The entourage arrived in Chingola for a night stop over before proceeding to Mwinilunga the following morning.

In the evening, the members in Chingola had a fellowship with the apostles.

The next day, joined by the area apostle David Seulu, they travelled to Mwinilunga where the District Apostle conducted two divine services in Lumwana West and Mwinilunga Central congregations respectively.

On Saturday, 20 June, 2009, the entourage travelled about 76 kilometers from Mwinilunga to Lumwana church where 804 members gathered. The district Apostle conducted a service and a text word was read from Ezekiel 36:26:

“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

On Sunday morning , over 800 members gathered in Mwinilunga Central and enjoyed the service as the District Apostle used a text word from 1 Peter 2:1-2:

“Therefore laying aside all malice, all deceit, as newborn babies, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby.”

The congregation was urged to have the desire to be close to the Lord and have the word of God. Apostles Katungu, Sweta and Chakwana were called to serve and later there was retirement of one District Elder and ordinations of two District Elders and 4 District Evangelists.
