He was accompanied by Apostle Akombaetwa Samalama ( in retirement) and the area apostle Donald Kalyangu.
In the evening of Saturday, February, 5 there was a fellowship where the senior, youth and children’s choirs sang both traditional and spiritual songs.
The next morning, Sunday, February,6 a divine service was held by the District Apostle which was attended by 2, 226 members of whom 32 were guests. Some members walked long distances of over 10 kilometres to attend the service.
For the service, a text word was read from Romans 12: 15 – 16:
“Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.”
After service, members from far areas did not leave immediately as they desired to fellowship with the District Apostle and his entourage within the church premises.
