District Apostle Charles Ndandula on arrival at Mtendere congregation
 

200 youths were  confirmed by the District Apostle Charles Ndandula in Mtendere congregation on 28 March, 2010. This day was also special for all the Christians as they were celebrating Palm Sunday.

The District Apostle was accompanied by Apostles Michael Milupi, host apostle, Willie Sweta of Kitwe, Ranford Simumbwe of Kabwe, Stanley Munsaka  of Lusaka Central and Kabuba Soko of Chipata.

He read a text from 1 Corinthians 1:9:

“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.” 

After the confirmands recited their vows the District Apostle urged them to remain faithful to their parents and obedient to the works of God.

During  the service the District Apostle introduced the newly ordained Apostle for Chipata (Apostle Soko) to the congregation. After the service, he had fellowship with the members as there were activities such as sketches and poems and hymns rendered by the Sunday school children and the sisters.

Over 1 500 members attended the service.
