From 7 to 9 August, 2009, a seminar was arranged for district leaders and their spouses at Chilanga main Congregation in Apostle Michael Milupi’s working area.

This is an annual event in this area. The purpose of the seminar was to encourage fellowship amongst the leaders together with their spouses so that they could participate in doctrinal matters.

There were many presentations, among them a presentation which stressed the need for leaders to understand their role in promoting the vision and mission of the New Apostolic Church and live their lives accordingly and also the aspect of soul – care and creation of warm relations.

Another presentation was on project management, which stressed the need to know how to manage projects successfully.

A presentation on capacity building for ministers of the New Apostolic Church centred on the need to uplift the image of the church in the face of members and outsiders and preaching the knowledge and understanding of the vision of the church, conducting services with authority and conviction and also conducting and planning of meetings, designing fellowship activities that each elder district must hold at least one workshop for ministers every year.

The following day, On Sunday 9th August, 2009 Apostle Milupi conducted a divine service at Chilanga main congregation which was attended by all the district leaders of his working area and their spouses.
