Apostle
Willie Sweta was surprised by the members of Kitwe's Central
congregation when they stood up and sang the birthday song for him
on Sunday September 5, 2010 as he was about to leave the altar.
The
Apostle, who was celebrating his 63rd birthday, was
surprised when the whole congregation stood up and started singing
the birthday song, as he was about to leave the altar after the
service.
Accompanied by Bishop Steven Lindunda and all the district elders of
his working area, the apostle conducted a divine service in Kitwe
Central Church. He read a text word from John 10: 14:
“I am
the good shepherd; and I know my sheep and am known by my own.”
944
members, of whom 10 were visitors, attended the service.
After
the service, the apostle had fellowship with the members who
presented him with a cake and a gift.
