District Apostle Ndandula in Chaisa
|
District Apostle Charles Ndandula conducted a divine service in Chaisa congregation on 6 June, 2010. This congregation is one of the oldest in the New Apostolic Church in Lusaka, and is located in the northern part of Lusaka. The church was so full on this particular day that some members had to sit outside. A text word was read from Colossians 2:8: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” The District Apostle was accompanied by Apostles Akombaetwa Samalama and Aggrey Singanda of Kaoma. The service was conducted in the church building that is still under construction as the old church building can no longer accommodate the members, who keep on increasing yearly. After the Service, the Choir and sisters’ fellowship known as “Luyando sisters” rendered some hymns and Sunday school children presented some poems and sketches. Later, the District Apostle inspected the church building under construction.
