District Apostle Charles Ndandula in Chalimbana On Sunday 28 August 2011, District Apostle Charles Ndandula visited Chalimbana Congregation in Chongwe to conduct a divine service. He was accompanied by Apostles Stanley Munsaka of Lusaka, Aggrey Singanda of Kaoma and Moses Mulopo of Mongu. For the service the District Apostle read a text word from Proverbs 11:24: “There is one who scatters, yet increases more, and there is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.” During the service, District Apostle retired District Evangelist Steven Kambika of Chongwe and Shepherd Blastone Mwale was ordained into District Evangelist ministry to replace him. 646 members including 13 guests attended the service. It shocked the members in Chongwe to learn about the death of District Evangelist Kambika three days after his retirement. Chalimbana is a small area in the outskirts of Chongwe town, about 35 kilometres from Lusaka, along the Great East road. Despite its low population of people, most government training institutions and dairy farms are situated there. |
