UNIVERSITY CONGREGATION  CELEBRATES ITS FIRST ANNIVERSITY

27 July 2008 was a special day for the university of Zambia members in Lusaka as they celebrated their first anniversary of establishing a congregation in the campus premises.

It was exactly one year when the students who are members of the New Apostolic Church decided to find a place within the university premises where they would attend Sunday services. They had approached the university authority to use one of the dining halls and their request was granted.

District Apostle Charles Ndandula visited the congregation to celebrate this day with them as he conducted his first ever divine service at the university of Zambia campus.

Accompanied by Apostles Stanley Munsaka and Ranford Simumbwe, District Apostle read a text word from Daniel 1:8-9:

"But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into the favor and goodwill of the chief of the eunchs."

The service was attended by 623 members of whom 37 were visitors.

After the service ,the District Apostle and his entourage visited the office of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Steven Simukanga who is also a member of our church and later had fellowship with the students at the residence of the Vice-Chancellor.
