Merry Christmas: 

It is Christmas time again. The weeks of Advent are quickly passing by and the excitement, joy and blessings of Christmas do fill our hearts.  As Children of God, we are focused for the return of the Lord and thus our Advent is not seasonal and restricted to the month of December.  We wait for the return of the Lord every day with the knowledge, He who came will surely return to fetch His own as He promised.

Blessed and Prosperous New Year:

As each year passes by, we know that we are drawing nearer and nearer to the day of the Lord and we want to intensify our preparations and be ready.

Dear Brothers and Sisters, I urge you all to celebrate these festivities as children of God. Our priorities shall never change – God first and thus we shall be in the House of God. We shall thank our God for everything and praise and glorify Him through prayer, singing, offering, Godly fellowship and through our conduct.

To the new visitors, you are welcome to join us in the Divine Services and other activities lined up to celebrate both Christmas and New Year.

Connected with all the Apostles of Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe, I hereby extend to you special greetings of love from our Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber.  I am thankful to all of you my dear brothers and sisters for your support and contribution towards the visit by our dear Chief Apostle in Livingstone (December 4 – 9, 2008).

May I also take this opportunity to thank you for the many messages and cards of love, support and Christmas wishes.  I appreciate each message, each card, each wish and each prayer.
