Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This year five (5) Churches have been dedicated already, and last year eleven (11) Churches were dedicated in Zambia and one (1) in Malawi. I look forward to the time when in Zimbabwe too, we shall dedicate some churches to the honour and glory of God. With these thoughts on my mind, I would like  to share with you a word which I used when I dedicated Railways Congregation in Kabwe.

I read the word from the book of Colossians 3: 16:

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

To dedicate something, it means you put it aside for a special purpose, so all the Church buildings have been dedicated for a special purpose in our lives – to prepare the bridal congregations for the coming of the bridegroom - that is our Lord Jesus Christ.  We consider these Churches as ladders on which blessings will be coming from the Lord to us and our thanks/thanks offering, prayers/petitions, and praises will get to our God, through His angels.  We must also be able to acknowledge that the Lord made it possible for the Church buildings to be completed and has given them to us as gifts.  We are aware that if you build without the Lord then that building is of no substance and the building is in vain.

I thank all of you who offer in the house of God, as you are aware, the building materials that are purchased by the Church Administration Office come from the offerings. You have all contributed to the completion of all the church buildings through your offering.

I urge you all to continue participating in the “Let us build a Chapel” projects and the Lord will  also continue to bless you. I wish to sincerely thank you all for the devotion and efforts to build the beautiful churches dedicated to the Honour and Glory of God in our district and the many other works we are able to accomplish.

Hearty greetings of Love
