19 February 2010

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It has been quite some time now since I last addressed you through our website. I am glad that we have now settled down in the New Year and we want to leave behind all the negative aspects of the previous year. We want to remain in the House of the Lord and continue with all the positive aspects from the previous times, which aspects will bring us blessings and also uplift the work of God and thereby bring glory to God and to His work.

This year we have great expectation as we prepare for the coming of our dear Chief Apostle, Wilhelm Leber to Lusaka and Kitwe, in October.  What a great blessing! However this blessing will only come when we also do our part. We should ensure that we do not leave out or include anything which will adversely affect our blessings. Whatever we do, should be done with love and done to please God.

Beloved, we shall please God by striving to do His will. It is God’s will that all should be saved, as He has only thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We live in the time of grace and therefore we shall do so when we are joyful in the Lord in all things, and to this end I would like to greet you with the message for this month from Philippians 4: 4:-  "Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice."

Let us rejoice in the Lord because we are children of God and it is my wish for all of you that the year 2010 may be a joyful one because joy in the Lord is a very important aspect of our life. The greatest asset we have is to be children of God. Being children of God will lead us to the inheritance in our Father’s Kingdom. The joy in the Lord will also provide us with the strength and with this strength we shall overcome many challenges. (Nehemiah 8: 10).

With Joy, one can accomplish many things. Sometimes we fail to accomplish some goals and give up due to lack of Joy.

We shall also rejoice because the foundation of God is solid and stands firm (2 Timothy 2:19).

Those who are filled with joy, remain firm and strong in the House of God. We have moved on in the year 2010 and remained faithful because of the Love and joy of God. This special love and joy is everlasting and godly. The Chief Apostle told us recently that joy is also a measure of faith and maturity.

Let us move forward with more love for God and His work. Let us be determined. We should be able to reconcile with one another should there be any differences, and identify those virtues that we want to build in one another so that all our weaknesses can be swallowed and ultimately we shall be one when the Lord comes.

May God bless you and keep you well so that you can continue with the good works in the House of God.

Heartily Greetings,

Charles. S. Ndandula
