District Apostle
Charles S. Ndandula

17th May, 2007

My dear brothers and sisters,

I am glad to come to you again after some good while from the time we launched our website in February 2007.  Indeed a number of events have taken place in the meantime.

We made contributions to the Kazungula flood disaster and we paid for the completion of many houses in Liyoyelo village through the help from our Chief Apostle and our local contributions.  We assisted also our brothers and sisters in Kapila, Muoyo, and many other districts that suffered the calamities of fire and floods.  I hereby wish to thank you all our brothers and sisters who contributed to this noble cause.

I have noted the good works by our sisters in the many congregations. Through the sisters’ unions some money has been raised towards construction of many church buildings in many congregations.  This gesture has greatly contributed towards completion of many church buildings and this supplemented the contribution from our dear Chief Apostle towards the completion of many structures in many congregations. The exercise is ongoing and I hereby call upon you to continue with the selfless contributions. Our goal is to ensure that each congregation has its own church building.

I must say that the contributions by the sisters unions are not confined to church construction but also to assist our many brothers and sisters who are less privileged in the many congregations with clothes and food. Before the Chief Apostle’s visit to Chipata on July 11 2006, some sisters from Lusaka and Kabwe visited Chipata and donated a number of items to the brothers and sisters there.

In April 2007, a number of sisters from Lusaka, Mongu and Kabwe visited Lilongwe. They donated clothes and other items which they donated to their bothers and sisters in Malawi.

I also take note of the various donations from our brothers and sisters in many congregations in Zambia towards the brethren in various congregations.

On the 29th of April 2007, the District Apostle Kitching and I were in Harare and Bulawayo for two divine services. Our dear Chief Apostle has transferred Zimbabwe to the district of Zambia and Malawi. Therefore from April 29 2007, our district now comprises Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe.  The additional country means the following:-

1.                 More hard work for me and my assistants.

2.                 More sacrifices from me, my assistants and from you my brothers and sisters.

3.                 More prayers from all of us.

4.                 More travels by me and my assistants.

5.                 Less visits to the former district of Zambia and Malawi.

6.                 It is my joy to serve my brothers and sisters in Zimbabwe. I love them as much as I love their counterparts in Zambia and Malawi.

Over the years, we have learnt that God our Heavenly Father has never made a mistake and thus it was the right decision at the right time by our dear Chief Apostle.

May I also hereby take this opportunity to thank all the brothers and sisters who sent congratulatory messages as well as from all our friends and well wishers who are not members of the New Apostolic Church concerning the launch of our website. It is not possible for me to respond to all of you personally.

On the 27th of May 2007, our Chief Apostle will conduct the Pentecost divine service in Hamburg, Germany. This service will be transmitted by satellite globally. Our district church will receive the transmission live from 09.30 hours local time in Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe. I will receive the transmission service from Woodlands congregation in Lusaka. Thirty minutes before this transmission (in Zambia), there will be a documentary about our district church and I recommend that you watch it.

I wish you every joy of Pentecost and richest blessings from our Heavenly Father.

In conclusion may I refer to the two visits by our dear Chief Apostle in March and December 2008.  Thank you dear brothers and sisters for the work done so far. We still have a lot of work to do and I need your support.

May I also appeal to all the brothers and sisters who write to other district churches for any assistance that they should channel all their requests and enquiries to the Public Relations Coordinator or to me and we shall revert to them.  All requests to other district churches are returned to me with no action on them. You will lose a lot of time if you channel your enquiries or requests outside our district church.

Let us work together as we approach self sustenance in the very near future. You are all needed in the quest for the further development of our district church.

Hearty greetings of love.

Charles S Ndandula
