Apostle Baker Chakwana was born on 28 March 1975 in Chikankata, Mazabuka. He resides in Choma. He was ordained Apostle on 9 July 2006 at the Showgrounds in Lusaka by Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber on the occassion of his first visit to Zambia. His area is Choma-Kalomo.

The District has the largest membership in the church in Zambia which is more than 117,578 members. The area has 20 elder districts, more than 564 congregations and 1,594 ministers.

He is assisted by Bishop Christopher Kaluma who resides in Kalomo.
