Apostle Ranford Simumbwe was born in Kalomo in the Southern province on 12 November 1964 and lives in Lusaka. He was ordained apostle on 13 March 2005 by Chief Apostle Richard Fehr, in Lusaka.

The Apostle assists the District Apostle in Kabwe-Serenje that includes Kabwe, Kapiri Mponshi, Mkushi and Serenje districts in the Central province of Zambia. His area is one of the major farming blocks and has a membership of 7,710 apostolics cared for by 1,885 ministers in some 20 elder districts. It has 567 congregations.
